I've had a lot of girls ask me about my Toe Savers so I thought I would post the info for everyone. I bought them from Low Price Skates for $14.99. When you order them you will need to call them to have them shipped via regular mail because their website defaults the shipping to UPS (which is also $15). So, call them if these are the only thing you are ordering. They ship from TX so it doesn't take too long.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE these! They do NOT move around and they are tuff! Since they cover the whole toe section of your skate there is no need to tape the sides of your skate like most girls do with the regular toe guards.

These are just like the ones that Marco makes except his are THICK leather. Nacho posted about them a long time ago and a few skaters have em (Ratchet, Nacho...) Those are really built to last. Like forever. These are cool too tho. _________________ SHUTUP VENUS!!

Here is the link to the ones Marco makes. They are super tough, and I think he has rhinestones that he can add to them in all of the team colors. He also made some for the OKC girls that had "RDR" stamped into them.

Just wanted to post a reminder: ATWM mentioned that studded belts, etc were not going to be allowed on the banked track because it could mess up the masonite. This will probably apply to rhinestones as well. _________________ Coffin Draggers - Co-Captain

I'm sure you will like them. Marco is an old friend of mine and originally worked on the design as a favor to me. It hurt to see Ratchet's original skates get all tore up, even with the little leather strip that Reidell sells in place. Anyone who has practiced with her at the lake knows how much of a maniac that she can be on concrete. Her toe guards are going to see another season even though her pro-designed pads won't.
As for the Rhinestones, Marco does art leather pieces for a living and is very cautious about putting things in places where they might get damaged. The gems on Ratchet's skates never touched the ground and surely wont hit the track. |

I know who he is. Heidi Salami has ordered some leather pieces too. I've seen him at shows. I am picking up mine today. He got them done in 2 days for me! Sweetness. Can't wait to see them! _________________ Ann Thrash, Ref
